Timothy W. Wright, III

Dr. Timothy Wright enrolled at Claremont Men’s College and received a dual Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics in 1977.  Dr. Wright later enrolled at UCLA School of Law where he received a Juris Doctor in 1983. He served as Chief Justice of the UCLA Moot Court Honors Program and was selected to deliver the commencement address in 1983. Following law school, he relocated to Chicago and clerked with the U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois.  Dr. Wright is licensed to practice law in Illinois and California and is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. In 2005,  Wright was selected as one of Chicago’s “Business Leaders of Color” by Chicago United. Dr. Wright served as a Director for the Southern African Economic Development Fund. He has served as a Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago and  Commissioner of the Department of Economic Development for the City of Chicago.  Dr.  Wright has been the Chairman of the Sub-Saharan African Advisory Committee of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Co-Managing Partner, Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan, LLP March of 2018. Compton Senior High School , class of  1973.
