Lydia Hines Ifejeokwu was elected to the Compton High School Alumni Association in 2018. Lydia is an alumnus of Compton Senior High School Class of 1979. Lydia is also an alumnus of Long Beach State University where she obtained a B.S. Degree in Business Administration, East Los Angeles Community College where she obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing, and Mount Saint Mary’s University where she obtained a Masters Degree in Nursing. Lydia is employed as a case manager for a Southern California hospital where she has worked since 2005. Outside of her professional pursuits, Lydia is a member of IPUN Southern California where she has participated in the fundraising events to assist with the ongoing repair efforts of public schools. Lydia is now a board member of the Compton  High School Alumni Association. Lydia lives with her family in Los Angeles County along with 3 dogs and a goat that they have as pets. She enjoys growing fresh fruit and rose flowers in her yard.
