Phyllis is an initial director of the CHSAA. She is an advocate alumnus of her class, having served on her class reunion committees since the 10-year reunion until present. Phyllis has a heart for the City of Compton and has attended and supported various events throughout the years. She is an active member of her church where she was previously a Sunday School Teacher, served on the Missions Board and the Women’s Fellowship Committee. Phyllis is currently assisting with transforming Praise and Worship music, Sermons, Scripture readings and various documents every Sunday via PowerPoint on the big screen. Phyllis also manages her Church’s Website, NBCF.org, where you can see videos and listen to the Pastor’s sermons. Phyllis retired from Verizon Communications, formerly GTE, where she was the Customer Advocacy Manager for the West Coast. Phyllis holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business degree from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Arts in Management degree from the University of Redlands.
