RANDALL ARNWINE ‘74

Randall has been a board member since June of 2013. He is a Compton HS graduate of the Class of 1975. He takes great pride in growing up in the City of Compton and has always wanted to give back in trying to help in any way he could. His goals aligned with what the Compton High Alumni Committee is all about so this was only natural that he became a board member. He is committed and dedicated in anything he does for which he has been married to his lovely wife Dorothy for over 31 years. Together they have 3 beautiful children, daughter in-law, and an adopted niece along with grandchildren. Randall attended Cal State Dominguez Hills, UC Irvine and The University of Arizona where he majored in MIS (Management Information Systems) and has worked in the computer field since 1981. The first 10 years he worked in hardware and the last 25 years in the software side of IT. He has worked as a software developer for two of the largest entertainment companies in the world as a consultant for the past 20 years. One of his goals is to also be influential in providing information to our students with the option to pursue the world of High Tech. He is an enterprising entrepreneur who started his own software development company for his family and employed and trained his children to follow in his footsteps as an option. He has always instilled in his children that you work hard and when you’re not working its OK to play hard. Randall is passionate about the Compton community and helping youth understand the importance of education and is dedicated to the alumni committee in helping provide scholarships to our youth and helping in any way he can.
